Why Depth and Bearing Matter

• True elevations. We dig to the plan depth so the footing sits at the right elevation and the finished floor lands where the drawings say.

• Water control. We plan for the seasonal water table and keep the excavation draining while the foundation goes in.

Our Process

We stake the footprint, strip and stockpile spoil, and excavate to plan depth with over-dig for forms and drainage. Any cut 5 feet deep or more gets OSHA Subpart P protection with sloping, benching, or a trench box. Once the concrete cures we backfill in lifts and compact to spec so nothing settles against the wall.
